Overview

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that will challenge you and help you grow? As a Material Planner, you will be at the heart of our operations, leading the weekly planning cycle, creating and releasing the Material Plan for specific categories. You will be the bridge between our team and the Bern planning organization, ensuring smooth communication and swift resolution of any supply issues. You will also be responsible for completing the Monthly Materials Plan for a 24-month rolling horizon for Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), using the production plan and supplier feedback as key inputs to ensure supply. This role is part of our Global Business Services (GBS) transition, and we're looking for someone who can adapt and thrive in a changing environment. Are you up for the challenge?

Responsibilities

  • Creating Monthly MRP Plan based on production needs and available inventories.
  • Sharing MRP plan with Bern planning organization for relevant SKUs.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and proposing constrained scenarios to maximize service.
  • Validating production and material plans in Weekly Plan Review Meeting.
  • Validating medium and long-term material availability based on supplier feedback.
  • Monitoring Purchase Requisition (PR) conversions and release of Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
  • Monitoring Suppliers' performance and providing feedback to Procurement.
  • Checking materials' availability and proposing actions for excess or shortages.
  • Creating inventory projections for Raw Material Planning Meeting (RMPM) ensuring alignment to targets, analyzing gaps and proposing mitigation actions.
  • Reviewing weekly provision snapshot to be shared with Finance.
  • Creating business waste projections for RMPM to minimize no consumption risks.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • 0-1year of experience in Material Planning or similar Supply Planning tasks.
  • Proficiency in product category planning.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact with multicultural teams spread across geographies.
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), specifically SAP, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
