As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, with a specific focus on supporting Zoho and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • User Management:
    • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring secure access to company systems and data.
  • System Maintenance:
    • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software applications.
    • Conduct regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Support:
    • Provide support for network connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Documentation:
    • Document and track all IT support requests and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Asset Management:
    • Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment procurement.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Training and Guidance:
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for using IT resources.
  • Specialized Support:
    • Provide specialized support for Zoho and ERP systems, including troubleshooting, user assistance, and system maintenance.
  • Security:
    • Manage basic security measures, including antivirus updates, firewall management, and security protocols.
  • Backup Management:
    • Manage company backups across different platforms and branches, ensuring data integrity and recovery procedures.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, VPN, and remote desktop support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience with Zoho and ERP systems, including implementation, configuration, and user support.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are required.
  • Experience in managing basic security measures and backup systems.
