Job Description

The Creative Director- Design is responsible for leading the design creative work. We are looking for a creative, innovative design-based talent to join our team. The responsibilities of the Creative Director- Design include interpreting client briefs and turning them into creative solutions, delivering high-quality products, overseeing design teams, and troubleshooting design problems.

To be a successful Creative Director- Design, you should be able to adhere to tight deadlines and manage budget constraints to deliver a great product and experience. Ultimately, a top-notch design director should have strong communication, leadership, highly skilled with branding and analytical skills.

Main Tasks

Technical & Product

• Work closely with the insights and strategy team to develop breakthrough, creative ideas and articulate the ideas in the creative brief

• Lead multi-skilled teams of designers and production specialists including initial briefings, day-to-day direction, creative review meetings and implementation.

• Lead creative presentations and orchestrate other team members to present the work

• Monitor and circulate the latest design-related trends information

• Capture and document project case studies

• Contribute proactively to business development efforts, existing client opportunities, proposal writing and presentations

• Strategic thinker and understanding of branding processes

• High ability to lead and execute branding processes from conceptualization to execution to final guidelines implementation

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

• Ideate, craft, and execute original and iconic creative design concepts in response to client briefs, objectives, or goals

• Is responsible for the proper placement, context, and meaning of every image and graphic element within a creative assignment

• Develop creative ideas that meet both our client's objectives as well as our business objectives, maintaining the company’s expected levels of creative excellence and professionalism

• Present, share and review creative work with Executive Creative Director/s, Account Management and Planning Leads as well as members of the Management Team

• Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors

• Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning, and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work



Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of experience in an advertising agency, from a design/art background

• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful and innovative campaigns, design and branding

• Exceptional visual design skills with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

• Expertise in developing and implementing creative strategies

• Ability to lead and manage a creative team effectively

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Adobe CC domain and Adobe Premiere knowledge for the assembly of audiovisual models.

• Basic level of Motion graphic skills.

• Demonstrable experience creating and designing offline and online campaigns.

• High level of involvement, commitment, and responsibility.

• Knowledge of interactive exteriors, websites, e-mailings, landings, campaigns on RRSS Instagram, Facebook, etc.
