About This Role
Business Support:
- Actively participate in HRBP OD calls to effectively partners with business leaders on business strategy development and organizational actions.
- Responsible for working on manpower budget support for line mangers.
- Analyses and improves retention measures through conducting stay and exit interviews
- Administering Performance Management Programs through partnering with respective line managers (counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Improve employee engagement through promoting recognition programs and share VOCs and feedback with employee
- Supervise and oversee End of Service procedures and off-boarding of employees
- Support Line Managers & High-Potentials in the Talent Review process & conduct SuccessFinder debriefs to ensure the people agenda is aligned with the business objective
- Assist with coaching of leaders
- Actively support Training and Development to enable organizational capability with respect to development, coaching etc.
- Support other CAE Entities in the region with HR Support
- Launch, implement and monitor Global HR Projects at ECFT
Employee Relations:
- Manages and resolves employee relations (medium complexity) issues through conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Assist with employee related legal issues & concerns
- Analyze Officevibe trends and champion employee engagement in the organization.
- Manage employee relations and exception management to ensure employee compliance and governance is in place at all times.
Human Resource Information Systems
- Manage and ensure that Workday is accurate and ensuring that all HR data and workflows are current and updated
- Create job requisitions on Workday for new roles and necessary job changes
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the update of job descriptions, verification by line managers and dissemination of updates to employees.
- Lead on pipelining for roles in the business in alignment with succession planning roadmap and risks
- Track open roles and conduct interviews
- Provide employee feedback after the interview
- Provide the compensations & benefits specialist with employment history of the confirmed candidate.
- Collect documentation prior to commencement of work from the new hire and arrange for relocation and set up at workplace. Coordinate with the PRO to complete visa requirements for employee and family.
- Actively find ways of attracting new employees and talents in the business.
- Lead employer branding initiatives
- Lead on ECFT programs – Engineering Graduate Recruitment Program & Support Crew Member Program
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
Policies, Procedures & Reporting:
- Prepare, review, develop and maintain policies and procedures in line with local and globally requirements
- Provide on-going support and guidance to Managers and Employees to adhere (including training) to current policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze trends and KPI metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies that are rolled out across the business
Contracts & Compensation
- Assist with contract renewals and negotiations with employees in coordination with the payroll specialist.
- Advise and work hand in hand with Payroll Specialist on offers, contracts and bonds for new joiners and existing employees
Additional Requirements (Mandatory)
- A minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with the ability to communication with various levels of management.
