As a Consultant Geriatric Medicine at SearchPlus HR, you will play a key role in providing specialized medical care to elderly patients. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions and diseases that affect older adults, and develop comprehensive treatment plans to improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments, including assessing physical and cognitive functions, and evaluating medications and social support systems
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions specific to the geriatric population, such as dementia, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular diseases
  • Prescribe and manage medications and treatments appropriate for elderly patients
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Provide support and guidance to caregivers of elderly patients
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and research in the field of geriatric medicine

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant Geriatric Medicine
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions specific to the geriatric population
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric medicine principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with elderly patients and their families
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
