The Role The Digital Marketing and Growth Manager will own the digital marketing strategy and be responsible for the execution, working closely with the Marketing and Student Recruitment Teams. The Digital Marketing and Growth Manager will devise strategies to drive business growth through digital channels. The management and optimization of campaigns is essential and must manage the digital agencies’ performance to ensure an increase in ROI.

The role demands a deep understanding of digital marketing principles and the ability to analyse market trends and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities. The post holder needs to deploy a combination of marketing channels and tactics, focusing on data driven decision making, experimentation and optimization to achieve sustainable growth.

The Digital Marketing and Growth Manager will have a clear understanding of forecasting, measuring and analysing digital campaign performance across the funnel, and will drive brand awareness, lead generation and customer acquisition.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop, execute, and manage growth strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Strategise and execute performance driven digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends, customer data and digital analytics to optimize campaigns and improve online visibility and engagement.
  • Planning and controlling the digital marketing budget and spending by allocating budgets to different channels.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels, including web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns, in line with brand plans and business priorities.
  • Sound knowledge of digital technologies that perform across a range of global markets in light with the target markets.
  • Identify and analyse key metrics to evaluate and validate growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, etc.) to implement growth initiatives.
  • Use A/B testing, product user data, and market research to inform growth strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior and needs.
  • Create meaningful performance reports and present performance metrics and forecasts to senior management.
  • Analyse the results and effectiveness of campaigns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations and to generate monthly reports on the digital marketing portfolio
  • Work on Search Engine Optimization and app store optimization.
  • Regularly monitor user analytics and use these insights to drive strategies to secure downloads and improve customer engagement.
  • Ensuring that marketing and communications efforts for digital campaign execution adhere to agreed timelines and managing expectations with various stakeholders.
  • Work with content marketing and design teams to create suitable content for each stage of a customer’s digital journey.
  • Review and optimize the design and content of all online assets, including the company website and social media pages.
  • Ensure compliance with law around copyright and data protection.

RequirementsPost Holder Requirements The successful candidate will hold:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
  • 5 years or more experience in user acquisition and growth marketing.
  • A comprehensive understanding of CRM Software and Data Analysis Tools.
  • Expertise in paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, affiliate, CRO and SEO.
  • Experience in acquisition analysis, A/B and conversion testing.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Up to date knowledge of performance marketing, trends and best practice.
  • A proactive approach, with this ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
