As a key player in our Sales & BD team, youll be the first line of communication with potential customers, helping them understand how our products and services can transform their business. What You Will Do

  • Research and Connect: Identify and engage potential customers who can benefit from Metric's products and services in the MENA region specifically in the UAE. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through proactive outreach and relationship-building activities to demonstrate how Metric can provide value.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, pursue, and secure partnerships that align with Metric's business objectives. This includes establishing relationships with financial institutions, technology partners, and key stakeholders to drive mutual growth opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market penetration. Lead sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, and close deals that deliver measurable results.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners, ensuring high satisfaction levels and retention rates. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with Metric's capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer success to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Provide insights and feedback to inform product enhancements and roadmap prioritization.
  • Market Insights and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the MENA fintech market. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential threats, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Potential Team Development: Work closely with various stakeholders across different regions to ensure alignment and success. As Metric expands its footprint, potentially take on responsibilities related to recruiting, training, and managing new sales team members.
  • Reporting and Optimization: Monitor performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts. Generate regular reports and provide insights to the CEO to support strategic decisions and optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Innovation and Customer Experience: Recommend and implement innovative ideas to enhance sales performance and improve customer experience. Stay informed about Metric's latest features, pricing structures, and payment plans to effectively communicate these to prospects.


Role Requirements:

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the fintech or financial services sector, ideally with exposure to the UAE market or UAE-based businesses.
  • You are proficient in Arabic and English, enabling you to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders in both languages.
  • You are willing and flexible to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
  • You possess a solid track record of building and nurturing relationships that lead to successful business outcomes.
  • You have strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations that showcase the capabilities and benefits of Metrics products and services.
  • Your understanding of startup ecosystems and incubation centers, both locally and internationally, enhances your ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at interpreting complex information and presenting it compellingly to diverse audiences. You are committed to Metrics mission and values, demonstrating dedication to achieving ambitious growth goals while upholding our core principles.
  • Your organizational skills and proactive approach empower you to take ownership of targets and deliver results consistently.
  • While not an engineer, you have a keen interest in technology trends and can engage confidently in discussions around programming languages and frameworks. A background in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce and a solid understanding of sales performance metrics are preferred.
