Job Summary

Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial activities of the company, such as preparing the consolidated and stand-alone financials of various entities and participation in day-to-day finance department activities. In addition, assisting with the internal control and maintaining the operational efficiency in safeguarding the assets of the company. Collaborating closely with Vice President, Corporate finance and Director of Corporate finance, in completing various tasks assigned.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

To prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements of various entities under IFRS

To prepare and submit group reporting packs

To develop/update and implement policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles and IFRS

Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors

To prepare and update various financial business models

To ensure finance department activities comply with various polices and regulations

To prepare and review of corporate budget

To prepare various schedules required for month end and year end closing

To provide responses to the audit queries including taking ownership to resolve internal control weakness of finance department identified by senior finance/management team or auditors

Stay updated with industry trends, economic developments, and best practices in corporate finance

To complete various tasks assigned by senior finance/management team

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience

Reasonable knowledge in procurement and treasury activities

Reasonable knowledge on UAE tax

Work experience in ERP and reporting tools like Hyperion, Cognos, is advantageous.

Proven leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing a highly motivated and cross-trained group of progressive accounting professionals

Excellent administrative, interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Computer literacy a must, with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Education or Certification

Professional qualification in finance & accountin.
