  • Supervisory Role:
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff during scheduled shifts.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including training and development.
  • Guest Service:
    • Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Maintain high standards of hospitality and professionalism among staff.
    • Monitor and respond to guest feedback and online reviews.
  • Operations Management:
    • Assist in opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness before and after service.
    • Monitor dining room and service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper setup.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Team Management:
    • Schedule staff shifts and assign duties based on staffing levels and business needs.
    • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, menu specials, and operational updates.
    • Motivate and encourage staff to provide exceptional service and work as a cohesive team.
  • Training and Development:
    • Train new hires on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance and development.
    • Identify training needs and facilitate training sessions as necessary.
  • Financial Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and control labor costs by optimizing staffing levels and scheduling.
    • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
    • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and POS system operations.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll processing and staff record-keeping.
    • Prepare daily reports on sales, transactions, and operational metrics.
    • Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost control measures.
Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
    • Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
    • Familiarity with inventory management and cost control practices.
    • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
