Ericsson is growing! We are now looking for Data Science Intern to start by July 2024 in Ericsson’s first R&D hub in the Middle East and Africa

We are looking for a graduate who has the following:

Bachelor’s Computer Science/Engineering

Should have graduated in 2022/2023/2024

Very good in written and spoken English.

As part of this program, you will work with Data Science, Machine Learning Operations & Cloud colleagues and will:

• Synthesize problems into data question(s).
• Decide approach for Data Science.
• Design & perform data science experiments.
• Do Proof-of-Concepts on Cloud Infrastructures.
• Develop Data Science Infrastructure & Tools.
• Convert data into useful insights.
• Act in external relations.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies in related areas:

• Minimum 0 -1 year of experience in data science.
• Proven experience in Python.
• Excellent general Software Engineering skills: maintainable code, testing, design principles, Object Oriented Programming.
• A good conceptual understanding of statistics, probability, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra.
• A good understanding of the underlying theory for both classical machine learning as well as deep learning algorithms.
• Experience with using ML and DL frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, etc.).
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Pandas.
• Expertise in unsupervised learning techniques and advanced clustering algorithms, with a focus on practical application and interpretation of results.
• Experience with Python Visualization Libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn, etc.).
• Experience in packaging machine learning work.
• Experience with using testing frameworks (Pytest, Unittest, etc.).
• Experience with reinforcement learning is a strong plus.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• The ability to handle large amounts of high dimensional data (knowledge of MapReduce or PySpark) is a plus
