Architectural Intern

Position Overview:

Narratives is seeking a dedicated and creative Intern Architect to join our team for a 3-month internship. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in architectural design and project management

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of design drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials.
• Research site conditions, zoning regulations, and building codes.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers through virtual meetings and online collaboration tools.
• Participate in client meetings, virtual site visits (if any), and project reviews.
• Support the development of digital models and renderings for presentations.
• Utilize architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) for design and drafting tasks.
• Help with administrative tasks, such as organizing project files and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Architecture
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong design and graphic presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines in both remote and in-office settings.

Duration:

Three months starting August 2024

Location:

Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Working Hours:

Must be available during standard working hours (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
