As an Engineering Storekeeper at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, your role involves efficiently managing and overseeing the inventory of engineering supplies and equipment. You are responsible for maintaining organized and well-stocked engineering storerooms, ensuring that necessary items are readily available for maintenance and repair activities.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory of engineering supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring compliance with purchase orders.
  • Organize and optimize the layout of the engineering storeroom for efficient storage.
  • Issue supplies and equipment based on approved requisitions to the Engineering department.
  • Keep accurate documentation of all transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand material requirements.
  • Work with vendors to source quality engineering supplies and negotiate terms.
  • Implement quality control measures for stored items, removing expired or damaged items.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption patterns, and issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving efficiency in storeroom operations.
  • Stay informed about new products and technologies relevant to engineering supplies.
  • Provide training to colleagues on proper handling, storage procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
