Role Profile

Create a commercial plan for the category in order to achieve the monthly target

Analyse historical data

Discuss with terminals team which products/campaigns to push for next week to achieve the target

Discuss with CVM,APP,Media how to push the campaigns

Create a plan that includes many campaigns and adds target to each campaign to achieve the overall sales target

Challenges terminals to get the best deals/stock for the eshop to accelerate the growth

Assign targets on each category and channel

Negotiate with GTM the offering and promos to have the best propositions on the eshop to generate sales

Create comms plan with different channels (APP, CVM, Media) to generate traffic

Identify product gaps and communicate them to the GTM team, fostering continuous improvement of the product portfolio for e-commerce sales.

Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer data to identify sales opportunities for existing products.

Monitor metrics traffic, conversion rate, sales, success rate

Analyse customer feedback to identify potential product or sales channel improvements

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the assigned categories

Role Purpose

Driving sales for the company's products offered through the e-commerce platform. This role bridges the gap between the e-commerce team and the separate product offering team, ensuring seamless product promotion, sales conversion, and a positive customer experience.

This will be done through the a commercial plan. The category Manager is the focal point between all departments contributing to the online sales. We Have terminals (responsible for the offerings & stock), Media (spend on FB, google etc), CVM etc. The category manager is responsible for creating a plan and makes sure its executed that will translate into target sales. It involves coming up with creative ideas on how to push our current assortment, and makes sure we have the right traffic (customers). He is responsible to increase the share of the digital sales from 20% to 40% by end of 2024/2025.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience :

  • Data analysis skills and experience working with sales data
  • Product Knowledge
  • Commercial Awareness


Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce sales or a similar B2B/B2C sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and marketing principles.
