Position Summary

The Business Manager plays a key role within Energizer Holdings business in ensuring and achieving key customer’s business plan. This position should lead and manage product distribution, promotion, sales performance and P&L by taking charge of the Energizer Holdings category. This position is well-suited for someone who has a strong passion, positive attitude and excelled interpersonal skill to collaborate effectively with the wider internal and external teams and stakeholders.

Working with a highly experienced and hands-on Management Team, this is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Professional to embark on and expand their coverage. This position will report to Business Director - Distributor Markets, MEAA.

Responsibilities

  • Developing optimal RTM (route-to-market) model for African and Pakistan export markets through distributors/wholesalers with a clear framework to measure key KPI’s (Net Sales, volume share, In-market Sales, trade coverage and spends, while creating processes and enablers to ensure leveraging fair value
  • Managing distributor relationships and delivering sales targets (top and bottom line) of products in the specified geographical area
  • Development and execution of sales plans, targets, and budgets within the overall business unit sales strategy
  • Taking the lead in management of key customer relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with them and responsible for building sales capability and for the overall management and motivation of the local distributors

You will be designated to oversee the following markets: Morocco, Algeria, Kenia, and Pakistan.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in FMCG or relevant industries
  • Minimum 2 years of experience at a managerial level
  • Distributor management experience is a MUST with exposure to Morocco, Algeria, Kenia, and Pakistan markets cluster/other African markets experience can be a benefit.
  • Flexible to travel, independent, excellent communicator and able to motivate and drive in market sales/ execution & distributor sales.
  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in English language
