Senior Logistics & Customs Support Associate

Role Purpose

Responsible for the management, planning and delivery of specified Logistics Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of the delivery of Logistics Support services. To ensure customer satisfaction and good relations between Logistics services stakeholders.
• Generate and implement SOP/LOP for purposes of standardization and correct practice consistent within aviation, national/international regulations and aviation standard procedures
• Carry out Logistics process and materiel requirements analysis and generate reports and plans to support effective and efficient service delivery.
• To ensure appropriate coordination and support of operational deployments, training, displays and capability development activities.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures related to aerospace industry standards.
• Prepare and submit documentation such as import/export declarations, licenses, and permits.
• Stay updated on changes in customs laws and regulations to mitigate risks and ensure smooth clearance processes
  
  

Experience & Education

• BSc or Higher Diploma / Certificate in Engineering / Aerospace discipline, or successful completion of Higher Technical College or UAE AF Air College.
• Fluency in oral/written English (IELTS, 5.0 and above) and Arabic language.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of logistics / supply chain management.
• Supervisory, planning, data analysis and report writing skills.
  
  

Key Skills

• Familiar with ERP systems and exposure to ERP System Teamwork (experience in SAP preferable)
• Proficiency in understanding and navigating customs regulations specific to aerospace components and equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, carriers, and government agencies
