Job Purpose

The Senior Fixed Assets & General Ledger is responsible for Managing the fixed assets process as well as managing and overseeing all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Qualifications & Education

  • Strong systems’ knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail operations is a plus.
  • Good in English
  • Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
  • Strong Excel skills is required.


Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 year of experience in accounting mainly in Fixed assets and General Ledger.
  • Experience in Retail industry is a plus.


Technical Skills

  • SAP
  • MS Office Skills


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the fixed asset process, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Maintain the fixed asset ledger and ensure accurate classification and recording of assets.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries & account reconciliations.
  • Handle monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Oversee and perform intercompany reconciliation processes to ensure all intercompany transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Develop and implement procedures to streamline intercompany reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure timely asset tracking, intercompany transactions & assigned financial projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries.
