Job Description

Aldar Education is currently seeking a Talent Officer to support our growing family of owned and operated schools based in HQ office, Abu Dhabi. To be directly engaged and be responsible for end-to-end recruitment process from planning, advertising, sourcing, attracting, scheduling and interviewing to on-boarding employees.

To implement set sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience and form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

  • Assist in implementing the company recruitment strategies to target and on-board high- quality employees.
  • Oversee and mange end-to-end recruitment process from approvals to formulating job description, sourcing, interviewing and extending contracts.
  • Manage the recruiting process to meet hiring goals through the use of effective resource management by using ie the Company’s ApplicationTracking System (ORC), relevant job boards and social media.
  • Work with internal teams and hiring managers to support with recruitment process.
  • Provide recruitment counselling and guidance to hiring managers for ie, selection criteria for candidates.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates.
  • Assess candidates’ information, including CVs, portfolios and references.
  • Support organizing and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline and identify talents for the company.
  • Collaborate with the internal P&C teams for timely employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Maintain and promote company policies and procedures pertaining to the recruitment process established.


Specific Duties:

  • Identify areas for process improvement in the Talent Section and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Guide and train new Talent Team members on processes or usage of portals.
  • Maintain company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.
  • Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle to meet our various and ever-changing staffing goals across all levels, locations, and business units.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks as well as maintaining relationship with external recruitment and souring agencies.
  • Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct screens & interviews and collaborate with hiring manager).
  • Work closely and communicate consistently with hiring managers to foster timeliness, accuracy, and completion of the recruiting process.
  • Drive actively the new school recruitment process to ensure staffing in line with approved business plan.
  • Provide HQ and Schools recruitment status updates to management weekly.
  • Initiate, monitor, review and report candidates background checks and safer recruitment procedures.
  • Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  • Support UAEN recruitment and identify/highlight strong potential profiles for future employment.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts and candidates’ communications on employment related matters.
  • Issue temp contract extension (when applicable and approved).
  • Administer, submit and ensure accuracy of all employment documents for new employees and liaise with GR team for visa and MOL contract processing.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and negotiate contracts where required.
  • Assess new agencies or platforms based on offering process technical evaluations.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new HQ employees.
  • Update and inform related sections with newly hired employees ie. Payroll, Operations.
  • Implement and analyse post boarding surveys and provide related reports.
  • Drive weekly Talent reports and ensure accuracy in data submission,
  • Keep records of all materials/documents used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
  • Be proactive in social media recruitment, vacancy marketing and headhunting.
  • Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges.
  • Share internal vacancies across the group to support transparency and equity.
  • Active contribution to achieve the P&C annual scorecard.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar


Minimum Experience :

  • 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition; Experience in the Education sector of advantage.


Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Fluent English communication skills, written and oral;
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Pro-active approach towards task or improvement ideas.
  • Good understanding of ADEK/similar govt body requirement.
  • Good knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ie Oracle) and other related job boards.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.
  • Experience in mass recruitment.
  • Ability to think ahead and out of the box.
  • Attention to details with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
  • Work in a highly collaborative and effective manner, both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Easily adapts to a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
