As a Specialist Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anal area. Your expertise in performing surgical interventions and providing comprehensive patient care will contribute to exceptional patient outcomes and improved quality of life.
In this role, you will evaluate patients, perform surgeries, prescribe appropriate treatments, and provide ongoing post-operative care. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as colonoscopies, biopsies, and imaging studies
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anal area
- Perform surgical procedures, such as colectomies, rectopexies, and hemorrhoidectomies
