Job Description

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, optimize processes, and ensure efficient production.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and enhance competitiveness.
• Team Building: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team focused on achieving operational goals.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and make data-driven decisions.
• Project Execution: Lead the erection and commissioning of a new steel section mill, ensuring successful project delivery.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Proven steel industry experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the steel industry, with at least 5-10 years in a managerial capacity within Steel Medium/Heavy Section mill and steel rails production.
• Strategic leadership: Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and market position within the steel industry.
• Operational excellence: Proven ability to optimize production processes, implement lean methodologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a steel manufacturing environment.
• Financial acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and the ability to analyze financial data to improve profitability.
• Project management expertise: Proven success in leading complex projects, such as steel mill erection and commissioning, from inception to completion.
  
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial, or related field) is required.
• Strong knowledge of steel production processes, including hot rolling and cold rolling.
• Experience in steel rail rolling mill operations with a proven track record of successful leadership.
• Proven experience in steel section mill erection and commissioning.
