Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all project documentation.
- Ensure all documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Track and manage document versions, revisions, and approvals.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely submission and retrieval of documents.
- Distribute project documents to relevant parties as required.
- Ensure all documents are reviewed and approved by appropriate personnel before distribution.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for document management.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of document distribution and receipt.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on document status, revisions, and outstanding issues.
- Monitor and track document control metrics and performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in document control, preferably in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
- Proficiency in document control software and tools (e.g., EDMS, SharePoint, Aconex).
- Strong understanding of document management principles, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
