Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all project documentation.
  • Ensure all documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Track and manage document versions, revisions, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely submission and retrieval of documents.
  • Distribute project documents to relevant parties as required.
  • Ensure all documents are reviewed and approved by appropriate personnel before distribution.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures for document management.
  • Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of document distribution and receipt.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on document status, revisions, and outstanding issues.
  • Monitor and track document control metrics and performance indicators.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in document control, preferably in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
  • Proficiency in document control software and tools (e.g., EDMS, SharePoint, Aconex).
  • Strong understanding of document management principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
