Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Create, update, and manage GIS maps and spatial data layers.
Integrate GIS with other project management and construction systems.
Conduct spatial analysis and modeling to support project planning and decision-making.
Analyze geographic relationships among varying types of data.
Provide detailed reports and visualizations based on spatial data.
Support engineering and construction teams with GIS-related tasks.
Assist in the development of site plans, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
Provide technical support and training to project staff on GIS applications and tools.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of GIS data through rigorous validation and verification processes.
Implement and maintain data standards and protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate GIS data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in GIS are advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with GIS in an engineering or construction environment.
Proven experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
Proficiency in GIS software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficiency in database management and spatial analysis techniques.
