Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Egypt, our client is, established in 2006, and is a key player in the energy sector with divisions in gas, power, petroleum, and water. Specializing in transmission, renewable energy, and water treatment, they operate in the UAE, Qatar, Libya, and across Africa, they're in search of an HR Business Partner to join their team.


Job Title: Regional HR Generalist


Scope: A Regional HR Generalist in the oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is responsible for overseeing various human resources functions within the region. This role includes handling talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, compliance with local labor laws, and other HR operations. The HR Generalist works closely with regional management to ensure HR strategies align with business objectives and promote a positive work environment.


Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition:


  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and manage the selection process.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.


Payroll Management:


  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll.


Employee Relations:


  • Manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations and take appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.


HR Policy Implementation:


  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with regional laws.
  • Ensure all HR practices are compliant with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies and best practices.


Performance Management:


  • Administer performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting objectives.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.


Employee Benefits Administration:


  • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure effective communication.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs.


HRIS Management:


  • Maintain and update HRIS systems with employee information.
  • Generate reports and provide HR metrics to support decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 + years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and strategic HR planning.
  • Previous experience in oil & gas, renewable energy, or any related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
