What We're Looking For

Memac Ogilvy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the recruitment strategy and managing the entire talent acquisition process across our UAE offices. The Talent Manager will focus on recruiting for four business units: ABC, PR, Experience, and Health and Wellness. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all talent entering the business, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process

Key Responsibilities

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

  • Recruitment Management:
    • Oversee the entire recruitment process for the UAE, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of top talent across ABC, PR, Experience, and Health and Wellness business units.
    • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - Greenhouse, ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Offer Management:
    • Handle offer negotiations and approvals, ensuring competitive and attractive packages for candidates.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for internal offer sign-offs and role approvals.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Internship Program:
    • Oversee the internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support for interns.
    • Ensure a valuable and enriching experience for all interns.
  • Freelancer Management:
    • Manage the administrative team responsible for onboarding freelancers.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and smooth integration of freelancers into the business.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with Talent Acquisition teams in other markets to share talent and best practices.
    • Ensure seamless coordination and communication across teams and regions.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously improve the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
    • Ensure all hiring managers are following the designated recruitment process and provide training as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to the CPO and other stakeholders.
    • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Relocation Management:
    • Manage the relocation process for overseas candidates, including logistics, immigration, and settling-in support.
    • Ensure a smooth transition for international hires and their families.
Other major Tasks that you can/ will be involved in include:

  • Employer Branding:
    • Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
    • Promote Memac Ogilvy as an employer of choice through social media, job fairs, and industry events.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
    • Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
    • Ensure diverse candidate pools for all positions and promote an inclusive hiring environment.
  • Talent Pipeline Development:
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
    • Engage with potential candidates through networking events, industry meetups, and online communities.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Enhance the overall candidate experience from application to onboarding.
    • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions with candidates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide training to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and unbiased hiring practices.
    • Develop onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and effectively.
  • Compliance and Legal:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labour laws and company policies.
    • Keep updated with changes in employment law and ensure the recruitment process adheres to these changes.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Technology and Tools:
    • Stay updated with the latest recruitment technologies and tools.
    • Implement new tools and systems to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process.
  • Recruitment Marketing:
    • Create and manage recruitment marketing campaigns.
    • Utilize various channels, such as job boards, social media, and industry publications, to reach potential candidates.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
    • Create detailed reports for senior management to highlight recruitment performance and areas for improvement.
  • Cultural Fit Assessment:
    • Develop criteria and processes to assess candidates' cultural fit within the organization.
    • Ensure new hires align with Memac Ogilvy’s values and culture.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Develop contingency plans for recruitment in case of unexpected events or crises.
    • Ensure continuity of recruitment operations during challenging times.
  • Employee Referral Program:
    • Develop and manage an employee referral program to encourage current employees to refer potential candidates.
    • Provide incentives and recognition for successful referrals.
  • Global Talent Mobility:
    • Coordinate with global offices to facilitate international transfers and assignments.
    • Manage the logistics and legalities of relocating employees across different regions.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Greenhouse.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and offer management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing recruitment for industries related to Advertising & PR/ Communications
  • Prior experience in handling internship programs and managing freelancers.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes in the UAE market.
