About The Role

As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and fulfilling all client requirements related to both hard and soft services. This includes overseeing the maintenance and operation of physical infrastructure (hard services) and ensuring the delivery of support services (soft services) that meet client expectations. You will work to ensure that both types of services are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within facilities management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (ACAD) and Microsoft Office Suite (including Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Explorer).
• Strong analytical capabilities with proven organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude, flexibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Working knowledge of health and safety requirements and legislation.
• Working knowledge of vendor / contract management.
• Native or mother tongue proficiency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with local staff, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in English is required for reading and understanding international documents, communicating with global stakeholders, and managing reports and systems that may use English.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for the following:

Facility Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure all facilities are well-maintained. Prepare and manage weekly maintenance schedules and oversee all repair work.

Team Management: Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance technicians. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Record-Keeping and Reporting: Enforce good record-keeping practices using paper and CMMS. Prepare weekly reports on maintenance activities and progress.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Work closely with vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors to ensure effective and timely completion of maintenance tasks. Manage required work permits.

Project Coordination: Participate in and coordinate facility projects, including expansion and system implementations. Analyze project costs, prepare budgets, and optimize resource allocation.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Monitor safety practices and maintain adherence to relevant regulations.

Data Analysis and Documentation: Gather and analyze data, blueprints, and reports to improve operational efficiencies. Develop processing plans and oversee infrastructure maintenance activities.
