The Contact Manager will be responsible for the efficient management and oversight of all e.construct contracts. This role involves implementing a robust contract management system, ensuring legal soundness, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing dynamic pricing strategies, troubleshooting contract-related issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement a contract management system to track deadlines, renewals, and compliance
  • Facilitate regular updates to stakeholders regarding contract statuses and regulatory changes, while also leading comprehensive training sessions for staff to enhance their expertise in contract management best practices
  • Ensure that all contracts are legally sound and in the best interest of the organization while mitigating risks
  • Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of contracts (including NDAs) for various commercial scopes and transactions
  • Develop and maintain a central hub for contracts, incorporating project learnings and facilitating knowledge sharing across teams to enhance organizational awareness and improve document management
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections
  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to optimize market competitiveness and revenue, and ensure alignment with contract terms and pricing
  • Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
  • Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close them out
  • Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and mandatory standards while also ensuring that all parties involved are aligned with the contract terms
  • Creative contractual conception with our contractual strategy


Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Internal Law is strongly preferred, however prior work with contracts is necessary
  • A background in Engineering is a plus
  • Prior knowledge with FIDIC contractual standards are a strong plus - almost necessary
  • Relevant experience as a Contract Administrator or Contract Engineer, with exposure to commercial construction projects
  • Strong written and spoken English, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all documentation
  • Proven ability to create, analyze, negotiate, and execute a variety of contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and client contracts.)
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures; Knowledge of revenue recognition, cost allocation, and budget management as it pertains to contracts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of pricing strategies and making data-driven adjustments as necessary
  • Demonstrate superior communication expertise to provide strategic pricing support and expert guidance throughout the contract negotiation process
  • Strong skills in analyzing financial implications of contract terms and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Experience in developing creative solutions to foresee and manage risks associated with contract terms and pricing
