Micah Solutions FZE is currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer to join our client, a leading Events and Exhibitions industry. As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and visitors. You will develop and implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and other incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on safe work practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records related to incidents, inspections, training, and other HSE activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Prior experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards.
- Knowledge in JAFZA, Trakhees regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in HSE, such as NEBOSH.
