Job Summary/ Main Purpose

Supervisor – the role holder is responsible to adhere with cGMP and good store practices. Complete given tasks during working hours in order to reach a high standard of good storage practice, cGMP and proper material handling while complying with company policy and warehouse SOPs.

In this role, your duties will include overseeing employees and operations, ensuring that objectives are met and that all aspects of the store are running smoothly at all times. You may also be required to train new employees and schedule shifts.


Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  • Responsible for ensuring the safe management of Raw materials with cGMP and implementing safety procedures.
  • Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispensing of raw materials.
  • Check received materials quantity-wise and visually and ensure all details match the documents.
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports of warehouse status.
  • Perform stock verification "cycle counting" and inventory taking as required.
  • Provide materials based on the given plan and ensure that stock is updated correctly & promptly while handling materials to operations.
  • Arrange issued materials according to the picking list and exact batch number and quantity within the given time frame.
  • Ensure facility equipment is properly maintained.
  • Handle the SAP system process and ensure that the process is under control.
  • Make sure the availability of required space within the warehouse for the storage of quarantined & released materials.
  • Maintain and promote a teamwork environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
  • Arrange work and prepare duty shifts & Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Responsible for orienting and training new employees.
  • Monitor staff performance and function operation to ensure the organization's cost, efficiency, and compliance objectives are met.
  • Conduct training as per the SOP.
  • Coordinate with the Planning and Production department to arrange raw materials required within the timeline.
  • Perform any other work assigned by Team Leader / Manager and support colleagues whenever necessary.

Qualifications / Key Experiences / Functional Knowledge Requirements

  • 4 years Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or any equivalent field.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in a similar organization in the pharma / Health care / Medical Industry.
  • Good command of English & Arabic (communicating, writing, and speaking).
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing operations, raw material management, and GMP practices.
