As a Specialist Consultant Refractive Surgeon, you will play a critical role in improving the vision and quality of life for patients through refractive surgery.

In this role, you will evaluate patients, perform surgical interventions, and provide comprehensive post-operative care. Your expertise and precision in performing refractive surgeries, such as LASIK and PRK, will contribute to optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' vision and overall eye health
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as corneal topography and pachymetry
• Diagnose refractive errors and determine eligibility for refractive surgery
• Perform refractive surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, and lens-based procedures
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques and technologies to optimize outcomes
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments to manage symptoms and support healing
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
• Educate patients about the refractive surgery process, potential risks, and expected outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in refractive surgery
