We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Consultant in Hepatology to join our team. As a Specialist Consultant in Hepatology, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of liver diseases.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. You will utilize your expertise in hepatology to provide personalized and comprehensive care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with liver diseases, including medical history review, physical examination, and diagnostic test ordering and interpretation
- Diagnose and classify liver diseases based on clinical and laboratory findings
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
- Perform procedures, such as liver biopsies and paracentesis, as needed
- Manage complications of liver diseases, such as ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, and hepatorenal syndrome
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including gastroenterologists, hepatobiliary surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families about liver diseases, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of hepatology through continuous learning and professional development

متطلبات الوظيفة
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Consultant in Hepatology
- Completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hepatology
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating liver diseases
- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as liver function tests, imaging studies, and liver biopsies
- Comprehensive knowledge of hepatology principles, practices, and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills specific to hepatology
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in hepatology
