Synopsis
To manage the Arabic communications function by creating content for the group’s internal, external, and digital communications channels. To develop and maintain relationships with local and GCC media, effectively communicating the company’s corporate priorities and initiatives. To take responsibility for the delivery of innovative, creative, and cost-effective integrated communications strategies that align with regional business and customer needs. To take ownership of all facets of external Arabic press and public relations for the company’s divisions, ensuring the communications strategy is delivered with effective messaging that is aligned to business strategy. To support executives with Arabic content services, including drafting letters and translating correspondence. Additionally, to manage strategic relationships with external stakeholders, including Abu Dhabi government entities, strategic entities and organisations, the shareholder, and the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
Accountabilities
Education & Experience
• Higher Education/Degree or journalistic qualification. Strong IT background/competency preferred.
• At least eight years of communications experience or Press Office/PR Agency/journalism experience, aviation/aerospace background is advantageous.
• Exceptional proficiency in Arabic & English writing and communications, with a proven ability to produce outstanding, high-quality content.
• English writing and proofreading: ability to write quickly, under pressure and to a high standard.
• Proven experience of producing content across a range of channels and exposure to digital content.
• Creative with a strong sense for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office: the highest standards of presentation and administrative skills are expected.
• Flexibility: the nature of the department’s work can result in the need to work extra unsociable hours with little or no notice.
