Synopsis
This is a key project management role under the Chief Operations & Guest Officer. In this role you are accountable to deliver a holistic range of projects spanning the broad portfolio where revenue generation or cost savings are a key objective.
Accountabilities
- Support a Project Management lead under the Chief Operations & Guest Officer in delivering a suite of high-impact strategic projects across the full portfolio. The role will principally support projects aimed at revenue generation and cost saving initiatives
- Providing tracking and management across the full range of projects, involving the influencing and holding-to-account of stakeholders across the business, at all levels
- Providing robust analytical support to projects, with the ability to use experience and relationships to hone
- Nurture a broad range of stakeholder relationships across the business to support the successful contribution and delivery of projects
- Use initiative and experience to challenge and mature projects
Education & Experience
- A strong educational background, ideally with a bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance or Business
- 3+ years’ experience in aviation, with preference for experience in handling projects across multi-disciplinary areas
- Demonstrable experience in influencing stakeholders and crafting persuasive and robust presentations and communications
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, ideally developed or matured at a leading management consultancy firm, with proven ability to provide persuasive and compelling arguments in a succinct and professional manner
- Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, or PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) is preferred
- Experience with key external stakeholders in this role, including airports, ground handlers, cargo handlers or catering providers, is an added benefit in this role
