Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions affecting the gums and other structures supporting the teeth
  • Perform periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
  • Evaluate and monitor the progress of periodontal treatments
  • Provide education and guidance on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Collaborate with other dental specialists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of periodontics through continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
  • Valid license to practice as a Periodontist
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases and conditions
  • Strong knowledge of periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
