Micah Solutions FZE is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) to join our esteemed client. As a Specialist in PMR, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients with physical impairments or disabilities. You will develop personalized treatment plans and provide therapies and interventions to improve patients' physical functioning, mobility, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
  • Provide specialized therapies and interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and electrotherapy.
  • Prescribe assistive devices, orthotics, and adaptive equipment to enhance patients' mobility and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and strategies for improving mobility.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress throughout the course of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR).
  • Valid license to practice as a Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Prior experience as a Specialist in PMR.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions and their treatments.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Valid DOH (Department of Health, Abu Dhabi) or (Active DHA/MOH license).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Prior experience in a rehabilitative hospital or specialized clinic.
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques, such as neuromuscular electrical stimulation or robotic-assisted therapy.
