Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Financial Director/CFO will oversee all financial activities, including financial planning, reporting, and analysis
  • This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
  • Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and analysis
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment
  • Ensure proper training and development opportunities for team members
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement systems and processes to improve financial performance and efficiency
  • Manage inventory and cost control measures to optimize financial outcomes
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and HR, to support business growth and operational efficiency


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors/Masters degree in accounting, finance, analytics or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of related experience leading the entire function & Dept. Reporting to the CEO/Chairman & Board of Directors.

Higher Education experience or professional certifications: ACCA/CMA/CPA/CA.

Strong analytical and modeling skills with proven ability to communicate complex information in accessible terms for a variety of stakeholders, including executive-level staff.

Knowledge of data structures.

Commitment to clarity, transparency, accountability and high standards of excellence.

Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain collegial and trusting relationships and build unity around difficult issues.

Proven experience managing projects.

Demonstrated experience in fostering and creating equity.
