Job Responsibilities:
- Directing finance, accounting, and transactional activities for the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, payroll, and Treasury while ensuring effectiveness for short and long term undertakings.
- Establishing effective accounting policies that adhere to corporate policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and statutory compliance requirements, and implementing financial controls and systems to guarantee effective financial management.
- Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, cash flows, and achieving objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, retained earnings statement) under IFRS.
- Managing daily cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to allow the company to operate effectively at all times
- Update Monthly Closing Entries ( Fixed Assets, ROU, Provisions, Accruals, and Prepaid)
- Reviewing VAT and Corporate Tax returns, and ensuring their regulatory compliance with Federal Tax Authority
- Monthly Bank Reconcliation
- Update Provisions Reports ( Leave, Travel, and End of Service) to align with the ledger entries
- Reviewing and approving Payroll, Leave, and End of Service Requests
- Reviewing and approving Payments
- Reviewing Purchase Orders
- Following up on bank transactions and accounts management; Bank reconciliation, investment, shares, LCs, and bank deposits.
- Reviewing Salary Certificates
