Our Client is a leading manufacturing company that offers global packaging solutions for Pharmaceutical & Non- Pharmaceutical companies, and they are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Performing month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Monitoring and analyzing account balances and financial transactions.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Requirements:
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
