The Senior System Administrator is instrumental in maintaining, advancing, and ensuring compliance of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role facilitates strategic IT management, proactive system maintenance, and robust network administration, contributing to organizational growth and operational efficiency while adhering to industry and national standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure and Network Management:
    • Design and maintain scalable, secure server and network infrastructures, including managing high availability of internet connections and overseeing voice gateways, load balancers, and FortiGate firewalls.
    • Implement system upgrades, patches, and security measures to ensure IT reliability and standards compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NCA ECC)
  • Compliance and Standards Implementation:
    • Lead and manage projects for the implementation of IT standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and NCA Data Protection and Privacy Standard, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Establish and uphold security policies within an information security management framework.
  • Cloud Integration and Management:
    • Oversee the deployment and integration of cloud solutions, particularly on Azure, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and adherence to cloud security standards.
  • Security Oversight and Data Protection:
    • Manage critical security applications like Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    • Develop strategies for data backup and recovery to ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection standards.
    • Supervise CCTV and access control systems.
  • System Optimization and Support:
    • Optimize network configurations for enhanced performance and security.
    • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for server-related issues to ensure optimal IT service availability.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Monitor network performance and manage documentation of IT configurations, changes, and compliance efforts
    • Regularly report these metrics to management.
  • Microsoft and Zoho Management:
    • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online
    • Supervise Zoho One applications such as CRM, Books, People, and Project.
  • Professional Growth and Cultural Development:
    • Engage in continuous personal and professional development.
    • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration across the organization.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with preference for additional certifications in security and systems management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in system administration, with a strong focus on compliance and security in a Microsoft environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership in compliance projects and effective collaboration with implementation teams.
