We are currently searching for an outstanding Event Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in event logistics in a conference organisation. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise, superb at supplier negotiations, with exceptional interpersonal skills. This role requires fluency in English and Arabic.

The role is a contractual for 6 months.

The role involves:

  • Online & in-person leading on the delivery of a portfolio of large-scale in-person and online training and learning programmes for smart grid engineering professionals
  • Speaker & sponsor coordination managing the communication with speakers and sponsors in the run up to the event, to ensure that all their logistical needs are met
  • Venue briefing & liaison working with the event venue to establish the layout, requirements and atmosphere of the conference, exhibition and networking rooms, and the registration area
  • Platform management controlling the online training and webinar platforms to ensure the seamless delivery of our recorded and live online events
  • AV briefing & liaison working with the audio-visual company to ensure that all speaker and sponsor AV requirements can be met within the event budget
  • Onsite security management working with the onsite security team to ensure the security and safety of all event areas and participants
  • Onsite registration managing the onsite registration process and working with the event programme manager to ensure the programme and networking activities take place smoothly and to time
  • Event evaluation maximising event feedback rate and collating the information to establish speaker scores, speaker feedback, sponsor feedback, and scope for future event improvements
  • Team debrief leading on the debrief process and documenting the outcome to ensure all team members perspectives are captured, customer satisfaction is ensured, and any improvement points are actioned


The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in event management or related subject matter
  • 3-5 years experience in b2b conference logistics
  • Interest in the Clean Energy sector and b2b business environment
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Deadline, target and goal driven
  • Collaborative teamwork and stakeholder engagement style
  • Comfortable using CRM and other productivity


As the role is contractual and for 6 months, candidates with self sponsorship will be preferred.
