Job Purpose
Ensure the smooth and efficient reception, inspection, storage, and distribution of materials supplied by vendors. Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse team, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
Responsibilities/Duties
Profil de candidat recherché :
- Facilitate the reception of materials supplied by vendors in accordance with the purchase orders issued by the Procurement Department.
- Perform comprehensive visual inspections of received materials to assess quality, quantity, specific condition, and the presence of relevant certificates such as Certificates of Conformity and Testing certificates, where applicable.
- Develop and maintain and understanding of key materials description and functions to support Operations and Maintenance with goods in acceptance of materials.
- Generate material receiving reports for accepted materials meeting agreed specifications or issue Receiving Rejection Reports for materials to be returned to the supplier if rejected. Update Maximo with received stock data.
- Organize materials by category and store them in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Take the appropriate action for care and preservation of the materials.
- Periodically verify stock to ensure accuracy.
- Fulfill stock requests in line with Stock Issue Requests or Maximo stock request processes.
- Issue materials to departments based on indents through stock issue requests and material delivery notes, maintaining accurate stock records in Maximo.
- Ensure that stocks are picked based on FIFO whenever is possible.
- Distribute materials to departments according to schedule.
- Take the necessary actions for disposal of scraps materials as per the procedure.
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed effectively by providing guidance and support to the team.
- Oversee the workflow by creating timelines and assigning weekly tasks.
- Verify accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities.
- Evaluate team members’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate with units to deliver the tools need calibration to the warehouse.
