Commercial Assistant

Based in Egypt, Heliopolis Office and reporting to the Senior Accounts Manager, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Interact and Develop professional relations with customers
  • Understand / Meet customer expectations
  • Coordination at multiple department levels
  • Support Senior Accounts manager in commercial activities

You will interact with customers and Key Account Managers from the development phase to submissions to receipt and release of orders to arrive at the customer warehouse. You are also expected to follow up at several stages of pricing, and production till dispatch and arrival. Follow up with customer care in production sites on commercial invoices and documentation and answer different queries that the customer or Key Account Managers may have.

Main responsibilities include:

Development and Project support:

  • Support Sales in the briefing documentation system and follow up with the development team in submissions and their delivery.
  • Support sales in price quotations and documentation needed for submissions and invoicing.
  • Monitor pending projects

Pricing, Order processing & A/R support:

  • Communicate with customer service colleagues in Givaudan affiliates and factories to secure smooth order processing and after-sales support. Ensure updating orders files and communicating with clients.
  • Provide customers/representatives with all kinds of the required information (Legality, prices, lead times, technical, market information)
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Follow up with clients and sales on Accounts receivables and coordinate with credit management.
  • Maintain price and price system

Administrative and Sales support:

  • Work with commercial tools and systems
  • Assist Manager in all kinds of administrative work (reports, correspondence, customer database maintenance, statistics)

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant
  • Min. 3 years of experience and a maximum of 5
  • Preference experience in logistics sales support / Logistics / CRM
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Customer Focus: Sense of good customer service
