About The Role:
As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Dsquares, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, automation, and maintenance of the infrastructure and processes required to support and deliver our software solutions
You will work closely with the senior DevOps team members to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems. You will be exposed to continuous integration and deployment processes, monitoring and scaling the infrastructure, and assisting in identifying areas for improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining efficient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Support the implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and release processes.
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices and standards.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Assist in managing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 1 year of experience or internships in a relevant role.
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Some exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications would be a plus.
