The jobs in this level are responsible for the processes, projects to ensure the alignment with international specifications and to meet clients’ specifications. The job holders are also required to provide direction for the function.

  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Operations and Maintenance department plans to ensure the alignment with Hikma’s overall objectives and business plans.
  • Participates in the development of Operations and Maintenance department policies, and procedures and ensures implementation of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of Operations and Maintenance department by facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Operations and Maintenance department related to more than one engineering sectors (Group of machines that have similar operating functions : HVAC) providing some guidance in facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
  • Prepares the Operations and Maintenance unit budget and ensures that the activity within this unit is implemented processed as per the assigned budget
  • Manages the effective achievement of objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate performance
  • Co-ordinates the work of own area of responsibility with other technical areas, both within and outside the family, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with technical strategy and identify process faults and rectify or escalate them appropriately to ensure rapid restoration of production.
  • Plans and implements work plan and validate new procedures in order to test, integrate, upgrade or reconfigure the line elements including ideas for improvement to current practices and participate in defining contingency plans.
  • Maintains an in depth awareness of technical developments, both internally and externally, in order to support the technical requirements of the Unit

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience from 2-4 years, preferred in FMCG, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics industries.
  • Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
  • Strong Leadership, Planning and Organization capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
  • Very good command of English (spoken & written).
