As an Intensive Care Specialist/Consultant at SearchPlus HR, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage and treat patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing necessary procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient care. Your expertise and commitment to patient care will significantly contribute to improving patient outcomes and saving lives.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and imaging studies
- Administer medications, blood products, and other necessary treatments
- Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in intensive care medicine through continuous learning and professional development

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as an Intensive Care Specialist/Consultant
- Proven experience in managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- Expertise in interpreting vital signs, laboratory results, and imaging studies
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in intensive care medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage complex cases
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address emergent situations
