As a Consultant/Specialist Gastroenterologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. You will evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and management.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive gastrointestinal examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies
- Diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and liver diseases
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and possible surgical interventions
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including biopsies and polyp removals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of gastroenterology through continuous learning and professional development

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal conditions
- Strong knowledge of gastroenterology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
