As a Specialist Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, with a focus on the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. You will perform complex surgical procedures, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and conduct comprehensive neurological examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI scans, CT scans, and electrophysiological studies
• Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions including brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, and degenerative disorders
• Perform complex surgical procedures including craniotomies, laminectomies, and discectomies
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instrumentation to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor post-operative progress and manage complications if necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay current with the latest advancements in neurosurgery and engage in continuous learning and professional development
