We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist to join our team. As a Surgical Oncologist at SearchPlus HR, you will be at the forefront of providing specialized surgical care to patients with cancer.
As a Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist, you will focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer through surgical interventions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilize advanced surgical techniques, and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform thorough clinical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests
- Discuss treatment options with patients and develop personalized surgical treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures to remove cancerous tumors, lymph nodes, and other affected tissues
- Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists and radiation oncologists, to ensure comprehensive cancer care
- Manage post-operative care, monitor patients' progress, and address any complications or side effects
- Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to review complex cases
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in surgical oncology through continuous learning and professional development

Requirements:
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist
- Proven experience and expertise in performing surgical procedures for cancer treatment
- Specialized knowledge of surgical oncology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple surgical cases simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
