As a strategic buyer you’ll be responsible for managing the local supply base needed for our production site in Cairo as well as for our local outsourcing procurement in Egypt

What You’ll Do

• Find and select the best suppliers for our regional projects.
• Assess and manage the performance of local suppliers to meet Signify's needs.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Support the development and implementation of commodity and local supply strategies.
• Represent Signify professionally and effectively towards the local supply base
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Commercial experienced in negotiation and supplier management.
• Communicative; able to work with different functions and layers of the organization.
• Have a good understanding of lighting industry or similar kind of industry.
• Team player and & result oriented.
• At least 5 years' experience required, preferably with education background in mechanical or industrial design.
