RF Planning Engineer

Job Overview:

As an RF Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing wireless networks, ensuring maximum coverage, capacity, and quality of service. You will work closely with network engineers and project managers to plan, implement, and maintain wireless networks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize wireless networks, including site selection, frequency planning, and parameter configuration
• Conduct site surveys and analyze data to determine network requirements
• Create RF propagation models and simulations to predict network performance
• Perform network capacity and coverage planning to meet customer requirements
• Develop and maintain network design documents and technical specificationsCollaborate with network engineers and project managers to ensure timely and successful network deployment
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation
• Keep abreast of industry developments and new technologies to continuously improve network design and optimization processes
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF planning and optimization for wireless networks
• Strong knowledge of wireless network design principles and tools
• Experience with RF planning software such as Atoll, Planet, or iBwave
• Familiarity with 2G/3G/4G/5G network technologies and protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work on-site and travel for project assignments
