Cashier

Opisok Ortho Specialized Clinic is seeking a dedicated and efficient Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized cash register. This role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Task Execution: Perform job tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and courteously upon serving.
• Cash Handling: Accurately and quickly handle cash transactions.
• Payment Processing: Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Receipt Issuance: Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Sales Promotion: Make suggestive selling to customers.
• System Operation: Operate the system efficiently.
• Creativity and Enthusiasm: Be as creative and enthusiastic as possible.
• Cash Register Management: Count the shift opening balance of the cash register and keep it clean and organized.
• Shift Handover: Close the cash register under the control of the supervisor and hand over the opening balance to the next shift.
• Team Communication: Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Ideal Candidates:

• Education: At least a high school diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
• Cash Handling Skills: In-depth knowledge of operating a cash register and maintaining a cash drawer.
• Monetary Transactions: Skilled in performing monetary transactions such as giving and receiving change.
• Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge; previous experience with any software is recommended.
• Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and a smiling face.
• Energy and Positivity: High energy levels and a positive attitude.
• Team Spirit: Highly cooperative team spirit.
• Stress Management: Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
