Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of various workshop equipment’s such as servo – drive system, automated welding, cutting equipment’s etc.
- Power units’ electro mechanical system repair, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Drive units, Shiplift & transfer carriage control unit maintenance.
- Maintain housekeeping of work place at required standards.
- Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns.
- Report any malfunction of tools and machinery to immediate supervisor.
- Take initiative to pursue self-development through on-job-training/education.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
- Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
- Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
Qualification & Experience/ Skills
- ITI electronics with minimum 3 year’s experience.
- Experience in mechanical, hydraulic with electrical experience
- Electro-Mechanical with Soft Ware Experience (PLC).
- Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
- Basic knowledge AC motor drives, inverters, PLC Transducers, communication system etc.
